Nathan MacKinnon pulls off one of the sickest end-to-end goals in Stanley Cup Playoffs history
After blowing a 3-0 lead in Game 5 of their second round series against the St. Louis Blues, you sort of got the sense that the Colorado Avalanche were watching one slip right through their fingers. However, after surrendering 3 straight goals to the Blues, who were able to draw even, Nathan MacKinnon pulled off one of the most unbelievable individual efforts with an end to end rush, finishing it off in style to complete the hat trick and pull ahead by 1 goal late in the game.
Unfortunately for the Avs, Robert Thomas tied it up with less than a minute remaining with his 2nd of the game and former Leaf Tyler Bozak sealed the deal for the Blues in overtime, forcing a Game 6 back in St. Louis on Saturday.
