It's no argument that the Knights/Oilers series has been extremely undisciplined and has arguably required more penalties to be called, but to see just how few penalties there were with the Leafs vs. Panthers is like a kick to the shin when there were so many missed calls such as these in a do or die Game 5:
I don't know about you, but that elbow to Mitch Marner looks a lot like the hit Bunting was suspended for in Round 1 to me.
Regardless, there's not much that can be done now. The Leafs are a team that thrives on the powerplay, so it's likely, had there been more adequately called penalties in their favour, the score outcome may have been different.
