Since rejoining the Leafs following the birth of his third child, Luke Schenn has played in every game dating back to March 23rd. On Saturday, Schenn played 18:52 in the Leafs' 7-1 win over the Habs, which was his most minutes in a game with the Leafs since being acquired.

However, with 9 NHL defensemen on the roster and with the Leafs having already secured home ice, Schenn appears to be getting the night off against Florida. Schenn was one of the few players that took to the ice this morning in Sunrise as the Leafs did not hold an official practice, so it is safe to assume that he will be the odd man out tonight.

We will likely see a handful of Leafs blueliners get a game or two off this week as the team prepares for the playoffs. The likes of Morgan Rielly, T.J. Brodie and Mark Giordano have all had a game off already recently, but depending how the next two games go against Tampa and Florida, they might need another one to rest some bumps and bruises.
