With just over 2 minutes left in the second period, Rasmus Sandin was called for high-sticking. The only issue is that his stick was on the ice the whole time. The stick that caught Connor Sheary was actually Nicholas Backstrom's. Unfortunately for Sandin and the Leafs, unless it was a double-minor, high-sticking penalties are not reviewable.

Keefe as he has been in the past on questionable and bad calls, was livid, yelling at officials, "That's not our stick, that's their stick," but it was an argument he wasn't winning. The Leafs managed to kill off the penalty and headed into the third up 4-1.

To nobody's surprise, it's actually Wes McCauley reffing tonight's game against the Caps. The last time Keefe blew up at McCauley over a questionable call, it earned him a $25K fine. Keefe wasn't happy about the call, but has shown some restraint so far. Another questionable call tonight could lead to Keefe losing his mind on McCauley again.
