As many had speculated after last night's loss in Los Angeles, the Leafs are going to have several lineup changes on Sunday in Anaheim, according to Keefe. The problem for us is that we don't yet know what those changes will be. Why? Because Keefe has refused to inform the media of those changes.
There is the potential that one or both of Timothy Liljegren and Jordie Benn may make their season debuts tonight, but it's equally possible that the Leafs will hold off on their debuts until after this horrendous road trip has concluded and they have had the chance to get some reps in with the team back home in Toronto ahead of Wendesday's game against Philly.
It's also possible that Nick Robertson could come out of the lineup after being limited to just 6:32 of ice time in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Kings. If it were me, I'd be putting Robertson right back in there to help build his confidence after a rough night that saw him ride the pine for most of the game.
One change we are already aware of is that Erik Kallgren is expected to get the start for the Buds. Kallgren is another player who could benefit from a confidence boost, so hopefully the boys bring their A-game tonight against the Ducks.
