Scotiabank Arena, originally known as the Air Canada Centre, opened in 1999, replacing the legendary Maple Leaf Gardens. Since then, it's seen one NBA title, a slew of playoff disappointments, but no major renovations aside from a facelift for the premium areas that was completed this summer. That will change following this season. Once the Leafs and Raptors seasons come to an end, construction will begin on a renovation of the 100 level.

Streamlined concession areas, a second Real Sports Store, and a new broadcast booth at Gate 6 are all going to enhance the fan experience. The coolest part, however is the new «Tunnel Club.» It will be an exclusive area where members will be able to see players coming in and out of the tunnel through new glass walls. As of now, it's unclear whether or not the players will be able to see out, or whether fans will be able to hear the players.

Imagine being able to see your Toronto Maple Leafs going through their pre-game ritual from just a few feet away. I'd pay extra for that experience at least once!

Scotiabank Arena released details and renderings of the new project via their profile on X (formerly Twitter). If the finished product looks anything like the renderings, seeing a game in person next season will definitely be high on the priority list. Anyone have an extra ticket or two?
