Stutzle was asked this week what he plans to do with the money from his new contract. His response was that rather than spending his money on fancy possessions, he wants to use it to make sure his parents are "well taken care of for life".
As it turns out, Stutzle is a man of his word and is making good on a promise that he made to his parents when he was younger. Stutzle reportedly told his parents that as long as they allowed him to play hockey at a competitive level, he'd make sure they would never have to work another day in their lives if he ever went pro.
It's something I'm willing to bet that we all wish that we could do for our parents. Fortunately for Stutzle's folks, his dream came true and he is now in a position to provide for them. Talk about a pretty good return on their investment!
