The Leafs handled the Tampa Bay Lightning with ease in Game 1, thumping the defending champs 5-0 to take a 1-0 series lead.

The game could have been won by an even wider margin had the call from the war room come down a different way after rookie defenseman Timothy Liljegren appeared to sneak a puck across the Lightning goal line in the third period.

It was RAZOR close, but the puck does appear to cross the line from the overhead view on the crossbar camera. Nevertheless, the call on the ice was no goal, and it did not appear as though there was evidence which could be considered definitive enough to overrule the call on the ice.

Looks as though Liljegren will have to wait for his first career playoff goal.
