Tyler Bertuzzi's official Toronto Maple Leafs headshot is absolutely sensational
A player's new team headshot can be a basic, routine change or it can be an opportunity for a player to have some fun, as we saw with the infamous Brandon Tanev "looks like he saw a ghost" photo, depicted below:
Well, apparently Toronto Maple Leafs winger Tyler Bertuzzi is going for a bit of a different flavour in his Leafs headshot. One website described Bertuzzi's image as follows:
If you haven't seen the photo yet, it's an apt description.
Those were weren't as familiar with Bertuzzi's game once he signed with the Leafs on July 2nd have likely gone back and reviewed some clips on the Sudbury native, just to learn what type of player the Leafs are getting. Obviously, many were pleasantly surprised during their YouTube rabbit hole searches.
Bertuzzi has a ton of skill, but also brings that "snot" that Brad Treliving coveted so much during the offseason. His greasy, gritty, feisty brand of hockey is exactly what is going to help the Leafs come playoff time.
