Alex Nylander Off to Impressive Start with the Toronto Marlies

Alex Nylander is not taking his opportunity with the Toronto Marlies lightly in hopes of another crack st making the Maple Leafs' roster.
The Toronto Marlies are off to a strong start, winning back-to-back games against the San Diego Gulls. One player eager to join the NHL lineup had a tremendous performance on Sunday; Alex Nylander.
Nylander scored two goals in Sunday's game, bringing his total to three points in his first two outings. One of his goals was an absolute snipe, as noted by Rink Rat Report on X:
It's also worth noting that Logan Shaw has also impressed for the Marlies, contributing three assists in the win and totaling five assists in his first two games.
Look for Nylander and other Marlies to continue making an impression as they aim for a call-up to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
