Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews was unfortunately injured on Saturday. The forward left during the second period of Saturday's game after colliding with Winnipeg Jets' defenseman Jacob Troubla, he didn't return.Sunday Matthews was absolutely nowhere to be found during practice and head coach Mike Babcock addressed the media afterwards. «He's good. Initially when you first get hurt or banged up, it's like panic mode for a little bit,» said Babcock after practice at MasterCard Centre. «And then you get up the next day and you feel a lot better than you expected and it's a good thing. Until he's checked out though [on Monday], this is just you and me talking.» Matthews missed 20 games last season due to injury, 10 of those games due to a separated shoulder and Babcock made it clear that Saturday's injury did not involve the same shoulder.
