The Toronto Maple Leafs have been tight lipped in regards to their franchise player Auston Matthews and his "upper body' injury. Matthews has been skating on his own here and there but head coach Mike Babcock wouldn't offer any updates on his status. We enjoyed a huge update on Friday morning as Matthews was on the ice with his teammates ready for full contact at Leafs practice. Matthews skated in between William Nylander and Zach Hyman. After practice Matthews updated his status himself, and confirmed the rumours that were already out there. The 20 year old forward stated that he was feeling "normal concussion symptoms" during his absence and that he feels great now. Even though Matthews skated with Nylander and Hyman, is he ready to play tomorrow night in New York against the Rangers?Matthews said a decision for the Rangers game will be made tomorrow.
