BREAKING: Maple Leafs Legend Johnny Bower Dies At 93
"The National Hockey League is mourning the passing of one of its legendary players tonight as Hall of Fame goaltender Johnny Bower died after a short battle with pneumonia.
Bower, who won four Stanley Cups for the Toronto Maple Leafs, was 93. Bower will not only be remembered for his great play over his 15-year career with both the New York Rangers and Maple Leafs, but also for being a true gentleman and ambassador of the game off of the ice.
