"The Toronto Maple Leafs are losing another key piece of their front office. Assistant general manager Mark Hunter and the Leafs have mutually agreed to part ways the team announced on Tuesday. President and alternate governor Brendan Shanahan said he had extensive discussions with Hunter, however unfortunately Hunter has decided to look for another opportunity. It's pretty interesting that after the Leafs announced that Kyle Dubas would take over as general manager, both Hunter and Lou Lamoriello have decided to part ways. Hunter will have no problem finding a new job.
