The broadcasting duo of Joe Bowen and Jim Ralph are officially set to return for the 10th straight season covering the radio broadcasts.
Bowen took to his own Twitter to make the announcement but it sounds like the duo of Bowen and Ralph are set to return for another season. The two have been together since 2014 and have become the radio voices of the Maple Leafs ever since.
Calling Leafs games on the radio for both TSN and Sportsnet during the regular season and playoffs, the pair don't travel as much anymore but have been present during the Stanley Cup Playoffs in recent years. They travelled during the first round of this year's post-season and while they weren't around for the first round in 2022-23, they were present for the second round series against Florida.
After their disappointing loss to the Boston Bruins in this year's post-season dance, Bowen took to his personal Twitter account to thank all the fans that joined the journey throughout the campaign:
The 73-year-old Bowen has been around in some capacity with the Maple Leafs since 1982 and has had the pleasure of calling well over 3,550 games. Ralph on the other hand was a professional hockey player between 1982-1989 before joining AM640 Toronto Radio as a colour commentator for the Leafs from 1997-2012. He has been apart of Sportsnet 590 The Fan and TSN 1050 since 2013.
Bowen has had many famous and popular calls over the years but we leave you with one of his more recent ones. William Nylander sealing the deal in Game 6 on home ice with a breakaway goal through the five-hole of Jeremy Swayman with Bowen on the call.
