After going 1-2-0 on a mini three game road trip, the Toronto Maple Leafs are back in town and will play five games in a row at Scotiabank Arena. The team was hit with a bit of a reality check as they got destroyed in their first two games being outscored 11-2, however after going down 2-0 in the third game dug up some competitiveness and ended up winning the game 3-2 in overtime. Head coach Sheldon Keefe shook things up when it comes to his forwards during the road trip but didn't touch the blue line. That looks like it'll change for Saturday's home game against the Detroit Red Wings. Keefe revealed some new defensive pairings at practice. Morgan Rielly has been split from TJ Brodie and will now be paired up with Travis Dermott while Brodie will move down to the second pairing with Jake Muzzin. Justin Holl looks headed to the press box and we should see a third pairing of Rasmus Sandin and Timothy Liljegren which fans should be happy about.
