Leafs Announce Roster For 2019 Prospects Tournament.
"The Toronto Maple Leafs decided to switch things up this year and have joined the Traverse City Prospects Tournament. With the Leafs joining the tournament, it's now an eight team tournament as the Leafs join the Chicago Blackhawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues and host Detroit Red Wings. It's the first time Toronto will play in the tournament and they'll play three round-robin games against St. Louis, Chicago and Detroit. Toronto Marlies head coach Sheldon Keefe will coach the team, with assistant coaches Rob Davison, Jack Han and A.J. MacLean, as well as goaltending coach Jon Elkin and Newfoundland Growlers head coach John Snowden.
