"It's been an interesting season to say the least when it comes to young players openly requesting trades. We saw Patrik Laine and Pierre-Luc Dubois both demand trades and eventually get moved for each other. This past weekend the agent for Calgary Flames' forward Sam Bennett and Montreal Canadiens' defenseman Victor Mete used the media to make it public that his clients have made trade requests due to lack of playing time.Well, it seems like one Toronto Maple Leafs' defenseman isn't too happy either as he voiced his frustration with his situation this afternoon. Sandin told reporters on Monday that he's frustrated. "It's obviously a little frustrating," he said Monday, according to TSN's Kristen Shilton. "It was a very long time ago that I played a game."Head coach Sheldon Keefe said Sandin is still learning how to be an NHL player. "We've tried to prioritize with him using this time ... to learn what's necessary to be an everyday NHL player," Keefe said. "There is some growth to be had there. We have no doubt he's going to be an everyday NHLer."What do you think of Sandin and Keefe's comments?
