One of the most controversial stories of this season has undoubtedly been the Morgan Rielly/Ridly Greig incident from a few weeks back, when Greig wound up for an empty-net clapper and Rielly pursuing him for a few words and a stiff cross-check, for which he was suspended 5 games.

In the wake of the controversial event and subsequent suspension, it would appear as though a few pranksters, presumably from Toronto, pulled a fast one on the Senators, hijacking their proposal cam for a practical joke over the weekend during the Sens/Golden Knights game in Ottawa.

The clip begins with one fan wearing a Senators jersey getting down on one knee and presenting a ring to his female companion, when out of nowhere, a fan wearing a Morgan Rielly Leafs jersey swoops in and plants a kiss on her while the Sens fan looks on in complete dismay and disbelief.

Another fan in attendance confirmed that the first fan in the Sens jersey was, in fact, wearing a Ridly Greig jersey.

Honestly, bravo to this group of pranksters. Pulling this off at a Leafs game would have been one thing, but pulling this off at a Sens game IN OTTAWA is pretty hilarious.
