"Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly had himself a very good overall game in last night's 3-2 overtime loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets. Rielly spent most of the night against the Jackets' top line of Artemi Panarin, Pierre-Luc Dubois and Josh Anderson and performed well.
However, the last few minutes were rough on the Leafs top defender as we saw him commit a couple of awful turnovers and get caught chasing that led to an odd-man rush as the Blue Jackets erased a 2-0 Maple Leafs lead in the third period.
One of those turnovers led directly to the game-tying goal by Dubois with less than three minutes to go in regulation as he passed the puck into the neutral zone directly to Seth Jones.

Head coach Mike Babcock was asked if Rielly was going to be frustrated when he arrived to the practice rink on Tuesday.
«It's going to do you no good,» replied Babcock, per Maple Leafs Hot Stove. «It's over with now. We've got to get to work and we've got a big game, and then we've got a break. I think we can get way better as a team. I tell the guys that all the time. I'll tell them that tomorrow. I think there is a whole other level we've got to get to if we're going to have success. I think Morgan Rielly has had a real good year. He made a mistake tonight.»"
