Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas caught many by surprise as he moved Nazem Kadri recently. In return, the Leafs landed Tyson Barrie who's been rumoured to be on the block for quite awhile now. We have a bit of a reason why now as he's got one year left on his deal and his new contract demands have been revealed. According to Toronto Sun's Steve Simmons, Barrie is looking to demand an eight year extension worth $8million per season. Barrie definitely puts the numbers on the board as he's got 307 points in 484 NHL games and set a career high last year with 59 points which included matching his career high of 14 goals. Would you be willing to dish out this huge payday to Barrie at 27 years old?
