It's no secret, the Buffalo Sabres are an absolute dumpster fire. The team hasn't made the playoffs in a decade and it doesn't look like that will change anytime soon. Many believe that a Jack Eichel trade demand is coming and of course, it won't be cheap for any team to acquire his services. According to Joe Dibiase of WGR 550, Eichel is apparently better than Auston Matthews.Yes, you read that right. Dibiase reports that for the Leafs to land not only would it require Matthews, but it would have to be a package of Matthews AND Rasmus Sandin. Yes, for the Leafs to acquire Eichel it would require Matthews and Sandin.Hard pass!
