Top Maple Leafs trade target Scott Laughton has posted a photo to his social media which appeared to be a cryptic message that he is about to be traded by the Flyers.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been connected to a number of quality forwards ahead of this year's trade deadline, but no forward available has been connected to the Leafs longer than Philadelphia Flyers pivot Scott Laughton.
The Leafs have been trying to pry Laughton out of Philly for a number of years now, and with the Flyers finally coming to terms with the fact that the playoffs are a pipe dream, Laughton finally appears to be available.
Up to this point, most of the chatter surrounding Laughton has been speculative, but a cryptic social media post from Laughton himself appears to confirm that his time with the Flyers is coming to an end.
This evening, Laughton opted to try to recreate the iconic "Last Supper" photo, featuring Jesus Christ and his disciples. Many have taken this as a sign that a trade is imminent.
With the Leafs being the favourite to acquire the veteran forward, social media is abuzz with speculation that the Oakville, Ontario native is in the process of perhaps being sent to Toronto. Of course, there is no confirmation on this as of yet.
Recently, it was reported that the Flyers and Leafs had discussed a deal for Laughton with Fraser Minten being the piece that the Flyers coveted. Per the report, the Leafs were quick to decline.
The reported asking price on Laughton was either a 1st round pick or an equivalent prospect. If he has indeed been dealt, it will be interesting to see what the return is.
