"Toronto Maple Leafs starting goalie Frederik Andersen is dealing with a knee injury and there hasn't been much details about it. Originally labelled as "day to day", head coach Mike Babcock said he expected Andersen to be ready for Thursday, however that might not be the case. Andersen spoke to the media on Tuesday and didn't sound as confident as Babcock did when it comes to Thursday's game. Andersen said he tweaked his knee during Saturday's game and woke up on Sunday to a swollen knee. He participated in practice Tuesday however only took part in half the session as planned beforehand. The goalie went on to say that the swelling is still significant and some movements are uncomfortable. He confirmed that he won't be rushing himself back to game action, so we could expect another Garrett Sparks start on Thursday.
