The Vancouver Canucks have received some devastating news regarding top winger Brock Boeser in the middle of their playoff run.

After dropping Game 6 to the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday and setting up a crucial Game 7 with both Pacific Division teams having Stanley Cup aspirations, the Canucks are going to have to try to win tonight's deciding game without the likes of Boeser.

According to multiple sources, Boeser is officially done for the season after doctors discovered a blood clot in his leg, which can be extremely dangerous.

Boeser has been incredible for the Canucks in this playoff run, contributing 7 goals and 12 points through 12 playoff games and was the Canucks' leading scorer in the playoffs. There's no question that the team is losing a huge piece, which could be instrumental in the decision of the contest.

The Canucks are already without the services of their starting goaltender, Thatcher Demko, who played just 1 game in these playoffs for the Canucks, suffering an injury in Game 1 against the Nashville Predators in Round 1.

The Canucks have already confirmed that Demko would not be an option for Game 7 as well, leaving the team in a very precarious position.
