Max Domi signed a 1-year, $3M deal with the Leafs on the 2nd day of free agency this summer, leaving the Dallas Stars following a brief stint there after the trade deadline and a run to the Western Conference Finals. Today, his former teammate, Tyler Seguin, posted a video of Domi after a Wednesday skate in his new Leafs practice gear as well.
Domi was still wearing his Dallas Stars pants, so the ensemble wasn't entirely complete, but I have to say; blue and white suits Domi better than any other colours he's worn in the NHL thus far. Like father, like son, as his dad, Tie Domi, also looked great in blue and white.
Domi is expected to slot in somewhere in the middle six for the Leafs this season, presumably on the left wing of the 2nd or 3rd line, as Brad Treliving had already suggested that we won't see Domi playing center for the Buds, at least to start out in training camp.
