Connor McDavid blows up Andrew Cogliano at center ice
Last night's Game 2 between the Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers was about as one-sided a contest as you'll see. The Avs skated away with a 4-0 win to take a 2-0 series lead heading back to Edmonton and now the Oilers face the daunting task of trying to win 4 of the next 5 games against the Avalanche in the Conference Finals.
You can tell that the frustration is starting to set in for the Oilers, and maybe that's a good thing. Even Connor McDavid has picked up his physical play. On Thursday night, he absolutely crushed Avs winger Andrew Cogliano.
We're used to seeing McDavid's highlight reel contain epic goals, but there is certainly some room for hits like this one.
