Jack Campbell found himself stapled to the bench for the fourth game in a row on Monday, as the Oilers' prized free agent signing has struggled so far this season. Through 10 games, Campbell is 6-4 with a horrible 4.27GAA and even worse .873 save percentage. Not only that, but he has given up less than 3 goals only twice and, in those instances, has only won 1 of those games.

As Campbell was watching Stuart Skinner and the Oilers lose 5-2 to the Devils, who have won 13 straight now by the way, Campbell was caught with a stray dump in from Oilers forward Dylan Holloway.

At the end of the second, Holloway was attempting to dump the puck into the Devils' zone while off balance and accidentally shot the puck into the Oilers' bench, hitting Campbell in the face. The good news is that it didn't hit Campbell in the eye, but it did break his nose. It's doubtful Campbell will miss much or any time with the broken nose, especially since he hasn't seen the net since November 12th, but when no one figured the bad start to his 5-year, $25M tenure in Edmonton could get worse, it did. The positive for Campbell in all of this though is that for once he'll be the one getting treated to Red Lobster - on Dylan Holloway's dime!
