Patrick Kane may have played his last game as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks tonight, or at least his last home game. It was one to remember for him and the fans as Kane scored a natural hat-trick and helped the Hawks defeat the Leafs 5-3 to cap off a 4-point night.

Over the past few weeks, there had been rumours that after the Rangers acquired Vladimir Tarasenko from St. Louis that the Leafs had become the front-runner to acquire the 3-time Stanley Cup Champion. Those rumours were, of course, put to rest Friday when the Leafs acquired Ryan O'Reilly and Noel Acciari from St. Louis.

Following the Hawks' win tonight however, Kane was asked about the reports of him willing to go to Toronto. His reply told a very different story than the rumours that have been circulating.

"I don't think there's really, at least that I know of, much discussion of that being an option. There's a lot of different reports out there, and not all of them are true. So, gotta be careful what you listen to."

Kane will likely find himself in a different jersey over next week and change as the Hawks continue their rebuild. With a cap hit of $10.5M for the season, the Hawks will almost certainly have to retain 50% of his deal and with a no-movement clause, Kane will have final say on where he wants to go.
