T.J. Brodie has been among the names on the radar for a possible move from the Leafs this offseason. He is entering the final season of his contract with the team, which carries a $5M cap hit, and it'll be the first season of said contract with a modified no-move clause. As of July 1st, Brodie owns a 10-team no-trade list.

However, even with the rumours surrounding a potential trade or buyout, it didn't prevent Brodie from being a class act this past week. Brodie took the time to visit a terminally ill man who is also a lifelong Leafs fan named Bob Hoskins - a visit which his daughter, Sue Hoskins-Lambkin, said created an "uplifting moment" in an otherwise troubling time for the family.

"It was definitely an uplifting moment for our entire family and emotional. The tears were flowing and we were just so happy that T.J. took time out of his day to come and meet my Dad. I couldn't have asked for a better day," - Sue Hoskins-Lambkin on Brodie's visit with her dad

Hoskins, whom Brodie had visited, hails from his hometown of Chatham, Ontario. For Brodie, it was just another way to do some good in his community and give back to those who have supported him and the Leafs through all the ups and downs. The Hoskins family as a whole truly appreciated Brodie's gesture and his time.

"This memory will last with my family forever. It's going to be such a special moment when my Dad does pass that we're going to have that in our hearts forever," - Sue Hoskins-Lambkin on the impact of Brodie's visit on the entire Hoskins family

Kudos to Brodie for being so generous with his time and being a pillar in his community.
