After being the first player cut from the Leafs training camp this year, late camp addition Ty Voit has taken his experience and translated it into the most dominant start of the season for the Sarnia Sting of the OHL. The 2021 fifth round pick has put everybody on notice and is playing some must see hockey right now with five goals and five assists for a total of ten points in his first five games. Voit isn't showing any signs of slowing down in the foreseeable future.

Last night, the Sarnia Sting faced off against the Soo Greyhounds and won 6-2 with Voit contributing 2 goals and 2 assists for 4 points. Voit's performance earned him the OHL performer of the night also earning the first star of the game honour.

The 19-year old is showing all of us how dominant of a player he is and will certainly be a force to be reckoned with this year. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel and, fortunately for Voit, he's not only putting his league on notice, but he's also putting himself on the Leafs' radar well ahead of next year's training camp, where he'll hope to stick around a little longer.
