The lacrosse goal, AKA ''The Michigan'' has become quite popular in recent years, with Andrei Svechnikov and Filip Forsberg scoring a few beauties at the NHL level. While you tend to see forwards attempt the move, it's rare to see a defenseman pull it off.

Well, during the warm-ups before yesterday's matchup with Philly, a Leafs defenseman did just that - and it's not who you might think. Justin Holl, a defenseman who is not exactly known for his offensive instincts, pulled off a beautiful "Michigan" and if you have yet to see it, it's a must-see! Check it out:

I have to say - I'm pretty impressed. We don't often think of Holl as the guy on the back end with some stick tricks in his game, but it's very clear from the video above that he has some severely underrated hands. Unfortunately, the number of times he'll ever be below the opposing goal line in game action is very limited, so we're not likely to see him pull this off in game action. Nevertheless, it was cool to see.
