Ryan Reaves loving Leafs camp so far, but has identified one issue
When you move from one team to another in the NHL, it can take some getting used to, as every team has their differences in how they operate. Every organization is going to have its quirks. For Ryan Reaves, his first skate with the Leafs was his first time having music played at practice since beginning his NHL career.
Reaves, a veteran with a decade of NHL experience, was asked about the practice of playing music during team skates. Reaves is a big fan of the idea, but has some notes for the DJ. Apparently the choice to play electronic dance music bothered him - not because he doesn't like it, but because there was no light show to go with it.
Reaves did provide a suggestion as to what should replace EDM as the music of choice during team skates. In his mind, a little hip hop might give the boys a little more jam at practice.
