For those who don't know, Miller was a former Arizona Coyotes prospect who the organization dropped in 2020 after his past of bullying a disabled classmate by using racial slurs and attacking the child's learning disability was publicly brought to light.
Miller, who was 20 when this all came to light, was even charged with assault at the time of the reported incident.
Last year, Miller had an impressive season that sparked interest in him again as a player. However, it's been stated by his bullying victim's mother that Miller never even apologized for the harm he caused.
This isn't a great look for the Bruins, and hockey fans have rightfully shown their disappointment regarding the situation.
Unfortunately, undeserved second chances such as this in the NHL aren't as rare as they should be. This situation is two steps back when it comes to respectfully growing the game.
