Blues dunk on Maple Leafs over the name of Justin Bieber's first child
The St. Louis Blues used the name of Justin and Hailey Bieber's first child to dunk on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
As a huge Leafs fan and good friend of Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews, Justin Bieber has certainly made his presence known around the Leafs in recent years, including participating in and performing at last season's All-Star weekend. Yesterday, he announced on Instagram that he and wife, Hailey, welcomed their first child in the world. The posted picture included the caption "Welcome Home Jack Blues Bieber".
While it was all celebrations at the Bieber household, the St. Louis Blues decided to have some fun at the Leafs' expense, screenshotting the image and posting it on "X" with the caption "Better than Jack Leafs Bieber, ngl!"
It was a well-timed, entertaining post from the Blues, which garnered some good laughs in the comment section at a time when hockey news is few and far between.
The good news is that baby Bieber appears to be healthy and happy and who knows? Maybe we'll even catch a glimpse of the Leafs' newest fan at a home game at some point this season.
