"The Toronto Maple Leafs and general manager Kyle Dubas announced a roster move early on Thursday morning. Jake Muzzin has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL. Muzzin has been dealing with a fractured foot since December and will head to the AHL for a conditioning stint. This means the defenseman will likely be back after the All-Star Break. It's great news because while Muzzin was down, the Leafs' lost defenseman Morgan Rielly for eight weeks.
