At the end of the Maple Leafs' 3-2 victory over the Flyers, two Leafs fans were attacked by a Philadelphia Flyers fan without any reprimanding from the security.

In what looked like your average opposition fan jokingly taunting the home team after a road win, apparently one fan didn't take too kindly and took matters into his own hands.

There isn't anything out there at the moment that shows the full escalation of the incident, however what we can see are two Maple Leafs fans adorning Auston Matthews jerseys waving their hands right in front of the glass before a Flyers fan came bolting through a maze of seats and angrily began throwing punches before walking off, unimpeded.

There were a few things wrong with this clip beyond the obvious attack, starting with the fact that the Flyers fan was able to just waltz down towards the glass and start throwing punches without any interference from security. An usher is seen at the bottom near the end, but the fan just walked past him and climbed back over to his seat.

Philadelphia fans don't necessarily have the best reputation for being hospitable hosts, especially back in the early 2000s and 2010s, but this video does them no favours in 2025.

Perhaps there's a lot of restlessness from a team that should be ushered into a rebuild, but to have their GM talking about a retool just before the trade deadline, could be agitating fans.

Nonetheless, that's not how you respond to opposing fans after taking a hard fought loss, especially after some of the fan incidents we've seen over the years that have led to severe injuries and sometimes death.

The Maple Leafs swept the Flyers in the home-and-home series with consecutive 3-2 victories. While both games were very close and the Flyers almost forcing overtime several times at the end last night, the Leafs were able to take 4 points back home with them.
