"After only scoring one goal in their last two games, the Toronto Maple Leafs will look to make a statement tonight in Winnipeg. Of course all eyes will be on Auston Matthews and Patrik Laine as two of the games most talented young players go head to head. Matthews has 16 points so far this season and is tied for the league lead while Laine has five points in nine games so far but has been bumped up to the top line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler hoping to boost his production. It won't be easy for the Leafs with the Jets on a three game winning streak on top of the fact that Winnipeg is 14-0-1 at home since February 27th. "It starts with speed and I think just the willingness to out-muscle and out-battle the guys across from you. It's going to be important tonight, especially against a big, heavy team like Winnipeg." Matthews said.
Frederik Andersen gets the start for the Leafs while Connor Hellebuyck gets the start for the Jets. Check out the full projected lineups for both teams below:Maple Leafs projected lineup
