The never ending William Nylander negotiations could be coming to an end soon. We've heard that Maple Leafs general manager Kyle Dubas flew to Europe last week to meet with Nylander's camp, add to that Dubas was meeting with Nylander's agent Lewis Gross in New York recently. NHL Insider Darren Dreger points out another interesting piece of information.Nylander had been practicing with Austrian hockey team Dornbirn EC on a daily basis, so much so that they even offered him a contract, which Nylander politely declined. Dreger reports that Nylander didn't practice with the team this morning, which could be an indication that the Leafs and Nylander are getting close to a deal. TSN's Bob McKenzie recently stated that the idea of trading Nylander likely hasn't even crossed the mind of Dubas and a deal will eventually get done. Could that deal be announced soon?More to come.
