Toronto Maple Leafs trade rumours continue to build and when all is said and done, it seems one of their most promising young forwards might be shipped out of town. We've heard that Patrick Marleau and Nikita Zaitsev are pretty much guaranteed to be shipped out of town while Nazem Kadri could be moved in a "hockey trade". However it's sounding like one of their restricted free agents could be the one dangled to land some defensive help. Steve Simmons of the Toronto Sun reports that according to "a bevy of hockey sources" the Leafs have talked "for certain" to other teams about Kasperi Kapanen. Kapanen is expected to get a nice pay raise after the $863k he made last year while scoring 20 goals and the Leafs might not be able to afford him with a huge payday coming for Mitch Marner. Are you ok with Kapanen being sacrificed if it means getting some defensive help similar to Jake Muzzin?
