"The never ending drama regarding the Toronto Maple Leafs and William Nylander continues to be one of the biggest stories across the hockey world. With the calendar officially switching over to November, the two sides now have just one month to get a deal done before Nylander won't be eligible to play the entire 2018-19 season. In his latest "31 Thoughts" article, Elliotte Friedman stated that the two sides are at a complete deadlock and frustration is sitting in because neither side is willing to budge. Now TSN's Frank Seravalli adds that "teams have been calling the Leafs left and right" however Toronto is currently turning them away. One of the main teams that have shown huge interest in Nylander is Carolina and they've made it clear to TSN's Pierre LeBrun that they will make an official offer once Nylander is officially on the block. "
