The Toronto Maple Leafs have stated that they believe their team can be a contender in the playoffs as is. They've also mentioned they will consider looking at their impending UFA's as their deadline rentals, however that theory could change very soon. TSN's Frank Seravalli stated recently that the Leafs have appeared fragile at times and they'll re-evaluate their deadline day plan. This means that James van Riemsdyk, Tyler Bozak and Leo Komarov could be back on the table if the team realizes that they're not a serious contender with their current roster. The whole Central Division minus the Chicago Blackhawks will be looking to add some talent to their top lines and there could actually be some bidding wars come deadline day. The Pittsburgh Penguins are also desperately in need of a third line center and Bozak could fit the role perfectly. With the chances the Leafs re-sign any of those players this summer looking really slim, should the Leafs just go ahead and flip them at the deadline?
