William Nylander channels his inner Derek Zoolander, modeling European brand
William Nylander continues to be a strong social media presence this summer and his latest venture had him modeling for Loewe, a popular Spanish fashion brand.
Nylander was very quiet last summer, as he continued to work with the Maple Leafs on a complex contract extension that ended up crossing the finish line in January. This summer, however, he is much more active on social media, having posted numerous times throughout the summer, showcasing all of his exciting activities, including a tropical vacation, attending Wimbledon, and now, modeling.
Nylander went full Derek Zoolander with his foray into the fashion world, snapping some photos for Loewe in an undisclosed location in Europe this week.
Nylander has become somewhat of a fashion guru over the years, showcasing his unique style at numerous points in Toronto during his career. His love of Sugo, a local Italian American restaurant has led to him wearing their gear all over town. Loewe, however, is an actual luxury brand and has taken Nylander's fashion portfolio to a whole new level.
Now, with the calendar flipping to August, we're only a few weeks away from players returning to their NHL cities in an attempt to get a good running start at getting back into season shape, so it won't be long until Nylander is back to roaming around Toronto once again.
