Mitch Marner has caught a lot of flak for his streaky play over the past few seasons, but as we've seen countless times, when he turns it on, there aren't many players in the NHL who are better - certainly not at his position.
During Tuesday's matchup with the Golden Knights, Marner took matters into his own hands with the Leafs down a goal late in the 2nd period, scoring an almost McDavid-esque goal.
The hands on Mitch - my goodness. We know he can stick handle with the best of them, but as we saw last season, he has improved his shot significantly as well. He only has 3 goals on the season, but my oh my was this one a pretty one.
