After making a minor trade with the San Jose Sharks earlier today, it looks like the Minnesota Wild will be swinging another deal according to Elliotte Friedman - this time involving a former Toronto Maple Leaf.

The Wild moved defenseman Calen Addison to the San Jose Sharks for right winger Adam Raska and a 5th round pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft. Friedman alluded to the fact that he believes Minnesota will be looking to acquire former Toronto Maple Leafs and current Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Zach Bogosian. ESPN's Kevin Weekes is reporting similar rumblings.

Bogosian has only appeared in 4 games this season for the Lightning, averaging 11:57 TOI, recording no points, has 2 blocks and 2 hits. He is a 16-year veteran with 787 games under his belt, 1,430 hits and 1,065 blocks, he played for the Maple Leafs in 2020-21 for 41 games, and has a Stanley Cup to his name from the 2019-20 season.

***Update: Bogosian dealt to Wild for a 7th round pick in 2025***
