Roberto Luongo goes viral for the first meal he ate out of the Stanley Cup

Hall of fame goaltender Roberto Luongo is enjoying being a Stanley Cup champion, going viral after eating one of his favourite meals out of the Cup this week.
Luongo had a stellar NHL career. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2022 and holds the 4th highest win total all-time amongst NHL goaltenders.
Following his retirement, Luongo joined the Florida Panthers staff, and after capturing their first Stanley Cup in franchise history on Monday, beating the Edmonton Oilers in 7 games, this is how he celebrated his Cup victory.
Luongo, Aka Strombone1 on X, shared a video of himself devouring a classic Italian pasta dish out of the Stanley Cup itself - extra parmesan cheese, of course. Luongo sported a big smile as his family and friends in the background were cheering "Let's go Panthers".
The closest Luongo came to capturing the cup in his playing career was during his tenure with the Vancouver Canucks, who lost in the Stanley Cup Finals in 2010-11 against a very strong Boston Bruins hockey team.
Luongo played 1,044 regular season games during his NHL career, posting a ridiculous career save percentage of .919. His career 2.52 GAA is equally impressive, as are his 489 career wins.
