During a Tuesday night meeting between the Edmonton Oilers and the Tampa Bay Lightning, polarizing forward Evander Kane suffered a gruesome injury, in which he had his wrist lacerated by the skate blade of Pat Maroon, causing him to immediately begin gushing blood. Kane quickly made it to the Oilers' bench to be attended to by one of the team's trainers. Here's the play that caused the damage.

Kane was rushed down the tunnel for urgent medical care, transported to hospital and was stabilized, but did require emergency surgery to repair the damage. It's too early yet to tell how much time he'll miss, but thankfully he's okay.

Following the scary ordeal, Kane's ex-wife, Anna Kane, actually took to Instagram to celebrate the fact that her now ex-husband was very badly injured. She quickly deleted the post, but screenshots live forever.

She also used the time to promote her OnlyFans account.

Regardless of what occurred in their personal lives, wishing harm on others is vile, petty and really sick. These types of injuries can be life-threatening. Considering the fact that they have children together, even if the now ex-Mrs. Kane doesn't care for her husband, she should at least consider the kids and how they would have felt knowing that their dad was seriously injured.

Kane is no saint himself, but this is disgusting behaviour from Anna.
