Following a heartbreaking 4-3 OT loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday night, the Leafs were right back at it in practice on Wednesday. The Buds welcomed back both Matt Murray (adductor) and Kyle Clifford (shoulder) to practice - though Clifford was donning the non-contact red jersey, so he appears to be a ways off yet.

One regular who was not present at practice on Wednesday was Calle Jarnkrok. Jarnkrok plays a fast game, always goes hard in on the forecheck and is a relentless worker, so it could simply be a maintenance day for a veteran player. However, Jarnkrok has been known to have had a bit of an issue staying healthy in his career.

Jarnkrok has played in all 14 of the Leafs' games this season, but has never actually played a full 82-game season in his NHL career. He does have a couple of 81-game seasons and a 79-game season under his belt, but for the most part, he always seems to miss about a dozen games or so each season - part of the package for a player who plays as fast and relentless as Jarnkrok.

Jarnkrok has been limited to just 3 goals and 1 assist for 4 points in 14 games this season, though he does play in more of a defensive/energy role for the Buds. Through 588 career NHL games, Jarnkrok has 109 goals and 245 points.
