Erik Kallgren was stellar against the Penguins on Satueday night, but after having Saturday night off, Matt Murray was occupying the starters net at morning skate today. The Leafs are wrapping up their 4-game roadtrip in Detroit tonight and will look to win their 6th straight away from Scotiabank Arena.

Murray has been lights out since returning from injury and has posted a 4-0-1 record and raised his season save percentage to .921. His return and performance couldn't have come at a better time as Ilya Samsonov went down with a knee injury just a few days before Murray returned.

Samsonov continues to work his way back from the injury he sustained against the Bruins a few weeks ago and has been practicing with the Leafs the entire roadtrip. Sheldon Keefe confirmed this weekend that he hadn't yet spoken with the team's medical staff about Samsonov in detail since receiving word that the 25-year-old would not be cleared to return on the road trip. Perhaps when the team gets back to Toronto, we'll have a better idea of where Samsonov is at and when he'll return - hopefully at some point this week.
