One of the hottest topic of conversations in Leafs Nation this year has been the Leafs' need for a new goal song. For years, every time the Leafs have scored, the iconic "You Make My Dreams (Come True)" by Hall & Oates could be heard pumping through the PA at Scotiabank Arena. However, after years of repetition, many fans are clamoring for something new.

As much as it would be great to kick off a new year with a brand new goal song in Toronto, not everyone wants Hall & Oates gone. In fact, Leafs mega fan Justin Bieber's comments on Wednesday signify that he'd like to see the Leafs keep the Hall & Oates going again this season.

"I'm ready to hear some Hall and Oates tonight." - Justin Bieber ahead of the Leafs' home opener

Look - I've got nothing against Hall & Oates. I grew up with a dad who was obsessed with the classics, so I have a certain appreciation for some of the more iconic tunes of the 60s, 70s and 80s. However, with a team who scores as often as the Leafs, it can get a bit repetitive, so a change every few years is certainly not a bad thing.

If I had my vote, I'd choose to go with this absolute banger!

I can just picture the line "bring on a brand new renaissance" surging through the speakers as the goal scorer makes his way over to the bench for a line of fist bumps. But hey - to each their own!
